Map Tools

When a map is displayed in the Search results, the following tools are available from the Map Toolbar to define and manipulate map data:

Tip: In order to view all the Map Tools, you may need to scroll up or down on the double arrow to the right of the toolbar.

• Area and Distance Measurement
• Key Map
• Map Area
• Map Centre
• Draw Shape
• Print Map
• Search by Street
• Display Geographic Information

Note: The Map Toolbar is only available when a Map is displayed.

Note: Maps are not Plans of Survey. Any measurements derived form the map are approximate. For the actual dimensions, please refer to the plans and/or documents registered or deposited in the Land Registration System. Measurements are rounded to the nearest meter or foot.
